Daggers scrapped the rock, the clouds overhead reflecting the Burjo's rather darkened thoughts. His Crown hung, his charcoal banners draped lifelessly against his hocks and boa like the black wings of a forlorn angel.

Azullo stopped at the cliff's ledge, his dark eyes looking over the razor thin edge with a morbid interest. Once Dark, now lost.... the stallion didn't really seem to concerned with what the fall might do to him. He stood there, like a iron statue, letting the breezes from the water below roar up the wall of the cliffs and rush over him.

His eyes closed partway, his hide jumping a little at the chill. Only one step away from ending the confusion and pain....

Brooke galloped through the shadows, careful to to be seen. Her daggers beat on the hard turf, leaving prints behind her. She slowed to a walk, calming her senses. She noticed the stag almost too soon. She turned to look at him, slipping out of the shadows and toward him. She kept silent as she snuck up behind him. She was right behind him now. She didn't make a sound. She lifted her head, staring over him. She waited motionlessly behind his rump. She stood there waiting for him to find her. She closed her eyes, thinking back to her foal years. She shook her head. Why had those thoughts come back to her?

She had hated her foal-hood, it was the worst. No freedom, nothing to do...and an evil mother who didn't even like you.....She didn't like it. Not one bit. She turned her attention back to the stag. She knew soon he would step over the ledge, so she decided to distract him.

Auzllo barely moved, his ears tipped back toward the motion of the air. He could feel the changes behind him- limbs tensed a little; if he was going over the cliff, it would be his own doing, not a push from some stranger.

Finally, after a moment or two of silence, the stag's eyes broke from the waters below as his head turned. Dark, bottomless brown eyes rolled gently too look at the steed behind him...

"Can I help you? I'm sorry if I am in the way... I'll be done soon, I promise."

Brook blinked at him. "Doing what, committing suicide?" She said with amusement. It was not a funny moment, but Brook had those kinds of problems. She tilted her crown. "I wouldn't, it would be a hard moment for you to see." What was she saying? Ahh! Brook shook her crown quickly, ridding herself of these gruesome thoughts. She blinked at him. Blinking never did any good, or did it? She was wondering that as she swiped her tongue over her maw. She yawned in boredom

Azullo's banner thrashed sharply against the curve of his hips as he turned his head to look back at the mare. What did she want anyway? His dark eyes bore at her, puzzled why she was wasting her time here talk to him. Was life so boring his personal misery was that interesting to her?

Brook stayed where she was. 'I am not here to do either.' She smirked. 'I am here on my own accord.' Her daggers sent a few rocks crashing down to the sea. She was still rooted to the spot. Nothing but death could make her leave..... And hopefully this guy wasn't stupid. 'Man, why are you even trying to die?' She sighed. It was stupid, trying to kill yourself. It wouldn't work....

A white horse climbed clumsly up the cliff. Despited what every one would think she wasn't here for a quick escaped from life. No, she merly wanted to admire the ocean, smell the tang of the salty water, and feel the spray of the ocean mist. Never on her life had Star seem such beauty as this other than the prairie where she used to live. Her brown eyes stayed focused forward and her hooves made a steady beat on the rocks but the sound was muffeled but the tuffs of beach grass.

When the mare came to the cliff her eyes rested on something she didn't expect to see. There was another mare and a stallion standing at the edge of the cliff.At first she though they were a couple looking out onto the ocean but they she remebered the storied that she had over heard. There were talk of horses jumping into the ocean to end thier painful lives. Is that was what there horses were doing?

"Excuse me. Am I interupting something?" She asked shyly hoping that she wasn't intruding on any inportant lats minute coversations between the two.

Eblis darted at a trot up to the horses. She attempted to push the others out of the way to get to Azullo. Her shiny coat was the colour of blood in the dim light. "Why hello!" she said with know real greeting "All wanna kill yerselves do ya? Well, move! Cause I may do it myself!"
